The IceToolz threading tool for threading the 1" front fork is a set with the cutting plate for 1" fork thread (1"x 24TPI) and a wring iron with long arms (total length almost 50 centimeters) for the perfect threading. IceToolz article number of the front fork threading tool is E281.
IceToolz for a tight wire cutting job
The wring iron on the front fork threading tool is extra long for this job. The cutting plate is made of hardened steel and cuts the perfect thread on the fork tube. Mount the front fork cutting plate in the wring iron with the smoothest side in the wring iron facing downwards in the wring iron and ensure that there is sufficient cutting oil on the cutting surface (IceToolz item number C143).
