Velox - More than a century of cycling passion

The French company Velox was founded in 1903. The offices and factories have been based for more than 50 years in Argenteuil in the Paris region. Velox® is a registered trademark and protected throughout the world. In 1913 Velox® launched the brand Guidoline®. Velox® manufactures bar tapes under the Guidoline® brand. Today, more than 100  Guidoline® are available in the range.

In 1936 Velox® launched the Jantex® brand, a double-sided gluing tape for tubulars. In 2013 Velox® acquired a wheels assembly factory located in La Guerche de Bretagne, near Rennes. Velox is the N°1Word leader for cotton rim tape with more than 1 200 000 meters produced. Velox is the N°1Word leader for cotton bar tape Guidoline® with more than 600 000 meters of product.

Velox is the N°1French leader for repair kits including its famous orange tube of rubber solution. Velox is the N°1French leader for aftermarket manufacturer of aluminum wheels with more than 170 000 wheels assembled in its factory in Brittany.

Velox® is proud 80% of production of Velox® is manufactured in France. Velox® is proud 60% of the production of Velox® is for export. Velox® know-how is recognized around the world and particularly in the United States, Asia and of course in Europe.
