IceToolz bottom bracket extractor for removal from the frame without damage
This IceToolz bottom bracket extractor is suitable for bottom brackets with sizes 35 to 46 mm. The Cr-Mo steel extractor makes it very easy to remove the headset cups and some sizes of bottom bracket in the right way and it works as follows: The striking side of the bottom bracket extractor is inserted through the bearing so that the 4 spring parts on the other side of the bottom bracket extractor are driven together and get through the bearing until the bottom bracket extractor is inside the bracket. The four spring parts are now in the bracket and can be pressed back against the bearing. The spring parts of the bottom bracket extender now come against the outer shell of the bottom bracket. Now you can carefully tap the impact side of the bottom bracket extractor with a (rubber) hammer until the bearing is out of the frame. (NB: be careful with carbon frames if the bearings are glued.)
