The Hozan nipple tensioner, or spoke tensioner, can be used on both sides. Perpendicular to the nipple for fine adjustment and in length with the spoke for the wheel maker and/or replacing a spoke. The nipple tensioner has a sloping side on both sides, which makes placing it on the nipple easier and faster.
