Chainflow has to do with the gearing.

•Standard teeth – normal tooth profile as on all other gear blades. Suitable for derailleur 7/8/9 gears in combination with 1 front blade.
•Chainflow – higher tooth profile to better keep the chain on the gear blade during shifting. Suitable for 11-speed derailleur in combination with 1 front blade.
•Chainflow 3D – higher and narrower tooth profile to keep the chain even better on the gear blade during shifting. Suitable for derailleur 11/12 gears in combination with 1 front blade.
